  • To serve as the central governing body for autism organizations worldwide.

  • To create large-scale awareness campaigns, professional standards, and international partnerships.

Organizational Structure

IAA follows the Elective governance model, with:

  • General Assembly: Comprising representatives from national autism organizations.

  • Executive Board: The decision-making body of IAA.

  • Continental Divisions: Regional offices in Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Oceania.

  • Scientific & Research Committee: Overseeing autism research funding and policies.

  • Ethics & Inclusion Committee: Ensuring fair and ethical representation of autism globally.
